Do you have a child who loves Bob the Builder toys? If so it makes sense to plan their next birthday party around this popular character. Kids will love having their party themed around Bob the Builder.
What do you need to do to accomplish this? Well it isn’t too complicated. You’ll need to first make a list of the kids you plan to invite and send out invitations to all your planned guests. You can buy specially-printed invitations online, have them printed, or have your kids help make them yourself. Making them yourself is much more time consuming but very worthwhile in the great sense of satisfaction you and your kids will have when you see the finished product.
Once you have sent out the invitations and completed your list of kids who will be attending, it’s time to plan the entertainment. You may want to choose such activities as arts and crafts, fun kids party games, or something like Musical Chairs where you can play Bob the Builder soundtrack music as the kids have fun circling the chairs until one last child is left standing.
If you are playing other party games that require a prize, you can pick up some inexpensive Bob the Builder toys to hand out as prizes. The kids will love this. You might even give each child a party favor of a small Bob the Builder toy to take home.
But don’t forget the decorations. Before you can begin your party you will probably want to put out some Bob the Builder party decorations for the table and the room. You can most likely easily find these items at your local party supply store. Some things to consider might be themed tablecloths for your party table, party hats, matching napkins, plates, and cups, plasticware, “happy birthday” banners, a Bob the Builder centerpiece for the table, party noise blowers, streamers, balloons, and maybe even a pinata.
As for the food, you can keep that very simple. After all you are cooking for kids, they don’t need a gourmet menu. You’ll get rave reviews for such things as pizza and chips, and another great idea I heard of someone doing was to cut sandwiches into shapes of construction equipment and tools using a cookie cutter. And of course don’t forget the Bob the Builder cake. Your local bakery should be able to fix one up for you, or if you know of an independent cake decorator, give them a call. Your party will be the talk of the elementary school!
