When I was little my mom was constantly telling me to go outside and play or go outside and get some fresh air. Go play with summer toys outside! I think that was good advice. I actually did a lot of playing outside when I was growing up. I had a couple of friends in the neighborhood and we played games outside just about every day. Is your child overweight? Unfortunately there is a growing trend of obesity in children mostly due to the fact that these days kids tend to sit inside the house all day playing games on their computer and watching TV.
