Kids Horse Toys – Do You Have a Child Who Loves Horses? These Horse Toys are Super!
My favorite toys when growing up were my Johnny West horse figures. They don’t make them anymore unfortunately, but there are still plenty of really great kids horse toys available for your horse-crazy kids.
I love the Radio Flyer Liberty Spring Horse with Sound. These rocking/spring horses are fun! I never had one as a child but I played on my neighbor’s spring horse all the time and loved it. Parents rave about these toys. This particular one is really nice. It neighs and makes a sound like a horse walking (I love that sound), has an extra-wide steel frame, fabric-covered springs to prevent pinching, and a mane and tail made of yarn.
For the smaller kids, horse toys will be just as popular if you give them the Radio Flyer Classic Rock and Bounce Pony. This pony has one some awards! This ride-on pony has won the Canadian Toy Testing Council’s Children’s Choice Award, National Parenting Center’s Seal of Approval, National Parenting Publication’s NAPPA Gold Award, Parent’s Choice Approved Award, and The Great American Toy Test Honors. Your small kids will love rocking and bouncing on this pony. There is a removable safety saddle which means your child can grow and still be able to enjoy this toy. The body can be removed and washed, and he even has crinkly ears to delight your kids. This toy is fine for kids up to 45 pounds. What a great toy for your horse-loving toddler.
For your kids that want to ride their own pony, try the FurReal Friends Butterscotch Pony or the FurReal Friends Smores Pony. Wow, these are neat. I sure would have loved them when I was a kid. Unfortunately there weren’t any toys like this then. I definitely would have been begging and pleading for one of these ponies. If you have a little girl or boy who dreams of owning a pony, you should consider giving Butterscotch or Smores a home. They are over 3 feet tall and can support a rider up to 80 pounds. They move their heads, blink, swish their tails, and even respond when your child speaks to them. I just love these!
