Riding Toys – What Types of Riding Toys are There?

Riding toys can really engage your child’s imagination. I used to have a wagon which actually was not a riding toy for me because I used to pull my friends all around the neighborhood in it, pretending I was a horse. I didn’t even mind, I think I maybe actually thought I was a horse. I used to gallop all around the backyard neighing too. But I’m getting off track here, let’s discuss riding toys for your kids.

I remember the Inchworm from when I was little, and I didn’t think they still sold them but I just found one at Amazon. It’s called Radio Flyer Inchworm. Apparently it’s just been brought back if I’m not mistaken. About time! This is an extremely fun toy for kids to ride on. The child hops onto the saddle/seat, grabs onto the handle, place their feet on the footrest, and start bouncing. And the inchworm starts moving! Love this toy. I kinda wish they’d make a big one for adults! Too fun. Get one of these for your kids this Christmas, they’ll love it.

Fisher-Price Go Baby Go Bounce & Spin Zebra is another toy I really like the looks of. It is not only really fun looking but it helps to enhance motor skills, plays 5 songs, and lights up. Your child will bounce around, jump around, and spin 350 degrees while interesting sounds reward your child and enhance auditory skills. Kids apparently really love this one and don’t grow tired of it easily like usually happens with these toys.

Radio Flyer Liberty Spring Horse with Sound is my next suggestion. I love this, I always wanted one of these. Little girls who love horses will really enjoy it and talk about sparking the imagination. I probably would have pretended I was riding a race horse in the Kentucky Derby or something like that. This is a great rocking/spring horse that not only rocks but also neighs, clip-clops (that’s great!), and has a mane and tail made out of yarn. The springs are covered so you won’t have to worry about your child pinching their feet or fingers in them. And don’t worry, the sound can be turned off if you get really tired of it. This toy is evidently another one that the kids are loving and using on a daily basis. This is a very safe rocking horse with no unsafe parts or problem areas. This is actually one of the more expensive of the spring horses but you know what they say, you get what you pay for. I think it’s worth it. If I had someone to buy it for I’d buy one today!
